One of the worst things about this year’s Ryder Cup, aside from the rain suits and captain, was the US players being unable to tweet. Of course, Ian Poulter did his best to keep the Twittersphere in the loop, but for me, Poulter is no Bubba.

Well, luckily for all 47,000+ of his followers, Bubba did not disappoint with his latest array of videos.

Sure, the Ben Crane workout video was the random Miley Cyrus song you secretly sing in your car, but Bubba has always been the Taylor Swift of funny golf videos, putting out jam after jam. In Bubba’s case, he just put out eight jams in a row.

First, dressed in his Ryder Cup suit, takes a swipe a soda. This is his proverbial warm-up. Do, re, mi, fa, so, la, te…

Next came a four-video cameo involving the “Ole Wooden Stick.” First, Bubba hits a bunker shot with the Ole Wooden Stick to a foot. Next, Bubba one-ups Tiger with his own version of the Nike commercial, which Bubba dubbed the “walk off homer.” The third video involving the Ole Wooden Stick shows Bubba taking out a day’s frustration on the range out on a banana. Bubba’s last video with Ole Woody was something straight out of Phil Mickelson’s Secrets of the Short Game DVD except without Phil’s forced salesman attitude and tone.

From there, Bubba goes from the ridiculous to the sublime. Another beautiful day in Scottsdale….

Bubba still in full Halloween garb made his way down to his pool with his milkshake that brings all the boys to the yard…

Finally, for good measure, Bubba lets you in on what girls really want to do…

With guys like Bubba, Rickie Fowler, Rory McIlroy and even Ben Crane, the game has interesting and likable characters that could take the sport into the next generation. Hopefully, for the Tour’s sake, these guys can stay in the public’s eye and keep their entertaining and “normal guy” image.

Bubba is on the forefront of that movement.
